(Wed, 14 Oct 2020) EIA’s new <em>Handbook of Energy Modeling Methods</em> explains, in plain language, the processes EIA uses to produce long- and short-term projections of key energy market statistics. Today EIA released <em>Handbook</em> documentation for most of the World Energy Projection System (WEPS), along with some parts of the National Energy Modeling System (NEMS) and the Short-Term Energy Forecasting System (STIFS). Additional <em>Handbook</em> sections will become available in the coming months.
