Eastern Mediterranean Regional Analysis Brief

(Wed, 03 Sep 2025) <p style='color: grey;'>Over the past decade, Israel and Egypt have emerged as significant regional natural gas producers in the Eastern Mediterranean region; natural gas production grew significantly after major offshore discoveries in Egypt and Israel began commercial operations in the 2010s. Cyprus’s natural gas fields are still under development and could boost regional growth once commercial production begins.</p>

2022 Manufacturing Energy Consumption Survey (MECS) data

(Tue, 05 Aug 2025) We have released the first grouping of data and tables for the 2022 <em>Manufacturing Energy Consumption Survey</em> (MECS). These data include consumption (fuel and nonfuel), end uses of fuel consumption, and fuel-switching. We plan to release the second set of 2022 MECS data in October.

Wholesale Electricity Market Data

Ukraine Country Analysis Brief

Ukraine halted natural gas trade with Russia and natural gas transit from Russia as of January 1, 2025.
