Saudi Arabia accounts for 43% (0.5 million b/d) of agreed on OPEC+ production cuts that began in May 2023 intended to rebalance the global oil market, hedge against downside risks of decreased oil demand, and raise falling crude oil prices.
(Fri, 29 Sep 2023) U.S. dry natural gas production increased year over year in 2022 for the second consecutive year, according to the 2022 Natural Gas Annual. Dry natural gas production was the highest for any year on record, dating back to 1930. Natural gas consumption also increased year over year in 2022.

We do not collect the data on an EIA survey, but rather we compile the data from various sources including trade press, pipeline company websites, and government agencies. These data are not a forecast. They represent last-known public information on projects, as of June 30, 2023. The status of each project is categorized as completed (since 2010), announced, under construction, on hold, or canceled.

Ecuadorâs energy production increased by a compounded growth rate of 0.5% per year from 2011 to 2021, and renewables accounted for most of the increase. Ecuadorâs global share of petroleum and other liquids produced in 2021 was 0.6%, ranking fifth among oil producers in South America.
